Call of Selene
Raptured by a pearl in twilight
Riding through night
Our amorphous carriage cantors
Drawn by chords of rhythmic heartbeats
Cadence of Elysian esprit
Love’s decanter
Spellbound astral magic casting
Rapt love lasting
Silver nights are our redeemers
Both together yet asunder
Eros’ arrow cracks like thunder
Moonlit dreamers
I wrote this poem in the form of a 16th century English caudate with two sixains in trochaic meter.
