Heart of Quartz

Heart of Quartz

‘Twas broken
but the old oaks have spoken
persist as the hours plod by
try.

I pursue
for a chance of life anew
on a trek on which I’ll age
sage.

Love eterne
until the rose quartz’ return
and my heart moves without sleep
keep.

I’m spinning
in a lost flame I’m twinning
timeless love’s bittersweet burn
yearn.

I wrote this poem in the form of a Deibide Baise Fri Toin.
