Castle in the Sky
She’ll always find a home in me,
On lonesome days and sleepless nights,
May her heart feel me hold her tight.
I know there’re things that cannot be,
But bright remains my soul’s porch light.
She’ll always find a home in me.
For only she owns this heart’s key,
Within these castle walls of might,
Forever pines her bygone knight.
She’ll always find a home in me.
I wrote this in the form of a Chaucerian roundel.
