Rise
Rise and embrace all the deep-rooted pain,
for now is the time to bid it farewell.
Hold tight the release that begins your reign.
denial has served but only in vain,
shadowy memories allowed to dwell,
Rise and embrace all the deep-rooted pain,
anger burst forth with promises to slain,
but its blaze ran wild uncontrolled in hell.
Hold tight the release that begins your reign.
bargained with the gods for any refrain,
from relentless ache in your mortal shell.
Rise and embrace all the deep-rooted pain,
depression hooked deep into your arcane,
but could not pull from depths beneath life’s swell,
Hold tight the release that begins your reign.
accept scars and change without any shame,
for some pride is hard earned so do not quell.
Rise and embrace all the deep-rooted pain,
Hold tight the release that begins your reign.
